Terms of Use

Practical rules and limitations for QRBento tools.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These Terms of Use describe the intended use of QRBento's free static QR code tools. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and remain responsible for the information and destinations you encode.

Permitted use

You may create and use QR images generated through QRBento for personal, educational and legitimate commercial purposes. QRBento does not claim ownership of the text, URLs, contact information or logos you enter, nor of the QR images encoding that data.

Your responsibility

Do not use the service to facilitate fraud, phishing, malware, impersonation, unlawful surveillance, deceptive communications, infringement or other illegal activities. Ensure you have the necessary rights to any logos or content you upload and distribute.

QR functionality and compatibility

Static QR codes store fixed data. They cannot be edited after printing without changing the QR image. A linked destination might expire, move or become unavailable. Scanning reliability depends on print quality, size, contrast, device software and other factors. Test your code in its intended environment.

No hosting or scan tracking

QRBento Version 1 does not host files, provide destination redirects, operate dynamic QR management, or guarantee scan analytics. QR images may link to third-party services over which we have no control.

Availability and changes

We aim to offer useful tools but do not guarantee uninterrupted site availability, compatibility with every scanner, or accuracy for every external destination. Features may change as the project improves.

Limitations

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for testing a QR before relying on it for printing, public distribution, business operations or safety-critical purposes. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
