Make joining your Wi-Fi easier

A Wi-Fi QR code contains the network name, security type and, for protected networks, its password. A compatible phone can use that information to propose connecting without manually typing the credentials.

What to enter

Use the exact SSID, including uppercase letters and spaces. Most ordinary home networks use a WPA-family security setting. For open networks, choose the open-network option so the generator does not encode a password.

Security consideration

Even when a Wi-Fi QR code looks like an unreadable pattern, the encoded password is not encrypted by the QR format. Treat printed guest-network QR signs as publicly shared credentials and consider using a separate guest network.

Common questions

Can anyone read the Wi-Fi password from the code?

Yes. A QR scanner can decode the encoded network credentials. Share QR signs only with people you intend to give access.

Will this connect every phone?

Many modern devices support Wi-Fi QR configuration, but scanner behavior varies by device and operating system.

Are static QR codes from QRBento free?

Yes. The static generators on QRBento are designed for free personal or business use, without an account or watermark.

Do QRBento QR codes expire?

Static QR patterns do not have a built-in expiration date. However, a linked website, WhatsApp number, map location, or other destination may change or stop working. QRBento does not host or maintain your linked destination.
